DrumFit at New Liskeard PS

05/13/2013 - New Liskeard Public School kicked off Education Week on May 6 and 7th with its students participating in DrumFit. All classes from kindergarten to grade 8 participated in the musical/dance activity that "exercises body and brain". Students had a great time drumming away and moving to the beat of the music using exercise balls and drum sticks. Thanks to instructor Graham Ghent who directed students and even spent time with staff after school demonstrating how to implement this great activity into classes.
