IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance

Offering protection against the unexpected costs of injury from accidents, accident insurance is especially valuable for families who:

  • do not have medical or dental plans,
  • have limited plans, as it may help supplement health and dental benefits, or
  • have active children who enjoy sports and outdoor activities.

For your convenience, District School Board Ontario North East has made arrangements for families to voluntarily purchase student accident insurance through the IAP Kids Plus™ Accident Insurance program, underwritten by Industrial Alliance Pacific Insurance and Financial Services Inc. ("IAP").

For complete plan details and to purchase insurance please visit www.iapkidsplus.com.

When we equip our teachers to excel, there's no telling what our students will achieve.

Through our professional association's website OCT.ca, parents and guardians have access to tools and resources:

  • Find a Teacher, an online registry to learn about your child's teacher and qualifications
  • Learn about the ethical and standards of a practice for the teaching profession
  • Concerns about a member? Learn about the complaints process and the steps to submit a complaint
  • Subscribe to our e-newsletter for parents, The Standard

District School Board Ontario North East, teaming with local health units, offers annual Dental Technician visits to our schools and access to other services for children 17 years of age and younger who have no access to insurance or dental coverage.
