Canada Remembers Veterans' Week
Veterans' Week in Canada is a time to honour and remember all those who served Canada in times of war, military conflict and peace. This year, we call upon all Canadians, especially youth, to take an active role in commemoration. Taking part in remembrance events develops a deeper understanding of the sacrifices and achievements of those who have served and continue to serve our country.

Canada's Battlefields - Local Students Travel Abroad
A group of eight high school students from EHS and TDSS had the opportunity to visit various battle sites of France, Holland and Belgium during March Break 2007. The trip was educational, fun and exciting. Everyone returned to Canada with a new appreciation of the efforts of our soldiers during World Wars I and II. History came alive for these high school students.
