School History:
The official opening of Charlton-Savard Public School was on Wednesday, October 29, 1986. The former Charlton and Savard Public Schools were closed and a new building was built just outside of the town of Charlton, in Dack Township, to accommodate the students from these two schools. All students attending the school have access to bussing. Visitors to the school, frequently comment that it is, "the nicest school in the board." A contributing factor to this is the exceptional care taken of the school by the custodians as well as the great pride of the students and their families. Charlton-Savard School is truly a "Community School".
