EUROPE 2010      2007 Grads     "The Shop" Grade 7/8 Class

In Mach, SRFSS played host to Jane Dijvre and Marc Lemaire from the Extreme VR Science Fair Project.  Students enjoyed pizza and were introduced to numerous VR "tools" that allowed students to create virtual reality images and view the world and the solar system up close and in real time using satellite imagery.

All of the software is now loaded on to the SRFSS computers and includes Blender, VMD, Google Earth, GeoSketchUp, Flight Gear Launcher, ParaView, Cellestia, Stellarium and Whirlwind, NASA's high-powered version of Google Earth.
